Harriet and Rob had a beautiful countryside wedding at Selden Barns, Worthing in June, last year. It was romantic and looking at their wedding photos really give you all the feels.
Selden Barns
Selden Barns is one of my favourite wedding venues in Sussex, it is nestled in the South Downs National Park, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Selden Barns is an absolutely gorgeous venue, they have a ceremonial barn which features stunning timbre rafters. But my favourite part of Selden Barns is definitely the main barn, I simply love all the fairy lights and special touches!
Whenever I walk into the barn, it always takes my breath away.
Wedding Cake
Harriet and Rob's wedding cake was so special because it was personalised. Harriet and Rob choose a lovely silhouette design which told the story of where they met, their engagement and their wedding day! The monochrome colour scheme gave the cake an eye-catching appeal and it looked stunning in the barn.
Harriet and Rob met at a campsite in Cambridge through the SSAGO association (Student Scout and Guide Organisation). We worked together at a Wedding Cake Consultation to create a campsite design for the bottom tier of their wedding cake, this was a scrumptious Fruit Cake.
Their middle tier was inspired by their engagement, Rob proposed to Harriet on a beach in New Zealand just after the New Year fireworks! What an absolutely amazing proposal, and I am so pleased this featured on their wedding cake. The middle tier was our signature White Chocolate and Raspberry Cake, containing fresh raspberries and chunks of divine White Chocolate.
The top tier represented their Wedding Day, the ceremony took place at the charming St Mary's Church, Goring-by-Sea. There was hand-piped royal iced flowers towards the back of the cake which were inspired by the details on Harriet's stunning Wedding Dress.
The cake topper was the perfect finishing touch!
Their wedding cake design was romantic and a one of a kind as all the decorations were painted by hand.

Harriet and Rob's wedding was dreamy, set in the most beautiful surroundings, and was filled with fun to really make the day extra special!
Having a bouncy castle at your wedding reception is such a brilliant idea, it provides the perfect entertainment for your guests, as well as a great backdrop for unique photographs!
I absolutely loved getting the opportunity to be a part of Harriet and Rob's special day, they were such a lovely couple and I loved working with them to design such a unique and gorgeous cake!
